Daisy Roman – LMHC
Ms. Roman is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Professional School Counselor, and National Certified Pre-Kindergarten Teacher. Ms. Roman graduated from the University of Massachusetts, and completed her Mental Health Counselor licensure coursework at Liberty University in the Counseling and Psychology program. Ms. Roman has a holistic approach to explore beliefs, thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns with clients to reveal resilience and improve coping skills in areas such as: Anxiety, Depression, Anger, Emotion Dysregulation, Impulse Control, Substance Abuse and Addictions, Grief and Loss, Marriage, Stress Management, Relationships, Academic Underachievement, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), among other behavioral patterns affecting different seasons of individual’s life.
Ms. Roman applies client centered therapeutic approaches to counseling, including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT), and Motivational Interviewing Theory approach. The therapeutic sessions are independently tailored to client’s emotional, social, and development needs. Ms. Roman brings vast experience in behavioral modifications, understanding at-risk adolescents, and adults. Faith-Based counseling is provided per individual request. Ms. Roman believes that the therapeutic process is a victory discovered while understanding client’s inner strength to realize client’s full potential.
