Sandra Baldoni, LCSW
Sandy Baldoni has been with Advanced Behavioral Health since the opening of the practice in 1999. Prior to joining the practice, Sandy worked in Portland, Maine in an in-patient setting with geriatric psychiatric patients. Sandy was instrumental in opening the geriatric-psychiatric unit and went through intensive training in working with the elderly. Sandy also worked for a number of years on a suicide hot-line as well as doing mental health home visits in rural Maine. Sandy specializes in working with issues of anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, as well as issues around mid-life transition, women’s issues, health, illness, and aging. Sandy is trained in EMDR, a therapy for treatment of PTSD and other psychiatric disorders.
Sandy has a BSW from the University of Southern Maine where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Due to her academic achievements, Sandy was awarded advanced standing at Boston University School of Social work, an honor given to only 29 students a year. Sandy has an MSW from BU. Sandy is also a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
Sandy incorporates her love of yoga, meditation, and breath-work into her treatment protocol.
