MacKenzie Miranda, PMHNP-BC, CCTP, is a board-certified Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner accredited through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). She provides compassionate psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults. She offers medication management combined with therapy-informed treatment grounded in trauma-informed and culturally sensitive care. Having grown up in Lake County and previously worked as an emergency department nurse, MacKenzie brings a calm, empathetic presence and a deep understanding of what it means to support people during vulnerable moments. She has a special interest in trauma-related conditions, mood and anxiety disorders, and severe mental illness. MacKenzie believes everyone deserves to feel safe, heard, and respected, and she strives to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where healing can begin.
